Steven Burke has been reporting on the technology industry and sales channel for 30 years. Burke joined CRN in 1993 and has teamed with fellow editors numerous times to win American Society of Business Publication Editors and Jesse H. Neal journalism awards. He is passionate about the role of partners using technology to solve business problems and has spoken at conferences on channel sales issues.

Kris Hagerman joined Sophos in 2012 as CEO. He is responsible for all aspects of Sophos’ strategic direction and business operations.

Prior to Sophos, Hagerman was CEO of Corel Corporation. Previously, Hagerman served as group president, data center management at Symantec, where he led a business of more than $1.5 billion that represented nearly 30 percent of Symantec’s global revenue. Prior to Symantec, Hagerman was executive vice president and GM, storage and server management at Veritas Software where during his tenure, the company grew from $1.0 billion in revenue to more than $2.0 billion, prior to its acquisition by Symantec. Earlier in his career, Hagerman was founder and CEO of BigBook, an online yellow pages service and founder and CEO of Affinia, an online contextual advertising network. Kris also held positions at Silicon Graphics and McKinsey & Company.

Hagerman has a bachelor’s degree in Russian and economics from Dartmouth College, an M.Phil. in international relations from Cambridge University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Doug Yeum is currently the Head of Global Partner Organization of Amazon Web Services. Prior to this role, he was the Technical Advisor (Chief of Staff) to AWS CEO, Andy Jassy. Yeum also held the position of managing director of Amazon Web Services Korea since January 2014. In this capacity, Yeum led all customer-facing teams that work with enterprises and startups in Korea. His management responsibilities included engaging with the c-level executives with their digital transformation and innovation strategies, developing business through channels and alliances, driving the overall awareness of AWS in Korea, and managing the business operations.

Prior to AWS, Yeum was the Managing Director of Google Korea responsible for all sales and business development operations in Korea. Before becoming the MD in 2011, he also held roles as the Head of Distribution for APAC, Head of AdSense Online for Korea, and Head of Business Development for Koreato contribute to the overall success of Google Korea since joining the company in Feb 2007.

Yeum also has experience as an entrepreneur, business consultant, and M&A analyst. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
